Protest Against Political Conference at Summerville Catholic Church
On Saturday, October 21st, from 8:25 am to 9:15 am, Defense of Democracy will host a “Protest Against Political Conference” at St. Theresa the Little Flower Catholic Church, 11001 Dorchester Road in Summerville. The group opposes Concerned Citizens for Education and Moms For Liberty (M4L) and the Diocese of Charleston’s decision to host a political conference at the aforementioned church.
“We have witnessed their (M4L) extreme dysfunction, and we do not want that for DD2 schools,” said Martha Sue Hope, protest organizer.
Protesters will stand in the easement on Dorchester Road in front of St. Theresa between 8:25 am and 9 am.
Defense of Democracy is a national nonpartisan organization, mobilizing communities throughout the country to protect public schools.
