CareYaya Pairs Charleston College Students with Those Seeking Companionship Care
CareYaya, a company some call “the Uber for at home companionship care,” is now available in the Charleston area.
The company matches college students (mostly pre-med) with people who need companionship care. Students will help those in need with laundry, food, reading, and more for an hourly rate. According to CareYaya’s website, companion care starts at $15 an hour. The caregivers are vetted through interviews, background checks, and community reviews.
