The Rocky Horror Experience Returns to the Queen Street Playhouse this Weekend

This Friday and Saturday (October 27th and 28th) marks the return of Footlight Players’s annual Halloween holiday tradition The Rocky Horror Experience live on stage at the Queen Street Playhouse. Each event will start at 7:30 pm.

Unlike the usual ‘shadowcast’ showings of the cult classic film The Rocky Horror Picture Show where actors mouth the words to the dialogue and songs on screen, The Rocky Horror Experience features not only the showing of the film  on a full scale movie theatre screen, but also live performances. These live performances include costumed actors backed by a full band performing many of the iconic songs live throughout the film including Sweet Transvestite, Time Warp, and Damnit Janet to name a few.

Audience members are strongly encouraged to come in costume to compete in a costume contest and participate in the famous virgin sacrifice of first time viewers. Prop kits are available for purchase online in advance only for all your callback and interactive needs. The theatre also features a full bar with snacks for purchase that can be taken into the theatre.
