3rd Annual Hop Chef Competition Returns for Charleston Beer Week
Charleston Beer Week begins this weekend, but one of the signature events, “Hop Chef,” will be held on Thursday, November 2nd. The event pairs nine breweries paired with nine Charleston restaurants for a unique culinary experience.
3rd Annual Hop Chef Competition Details:
- Chefs cook live on site
- Chefs will be required to incorporate their partnered brewery’s beer into their dish
- Brewery crew will be on site to chat with guests

Guests can vote for their favorite dish to crown the “People’s Champ.” There will also be a local celebrity panel of judges: Parker Milner (Post and Courier), Robert Moss (Southern Living Magazine and Post and Courier), and Chris Winn (Charleston Beer Week).
