Be A Mentor Partners with Lowcountry Oyster Co. and Charleston Battery for Oyster Roast Fundraiser

Be A Mentor, a local nonprofit organization, today announced its first-ever Oyster Roast fundraiser in partnership with Lowcountry Oyster Co. and the Charleston Battery. The event is set to take place on Friday, October 27th, 2023, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Patriots Point Soccer Stadium, located at 85 Patriots Point Rd.

Tickets are $40 for ages 12 and above and can be purchased here. Kids 11 years old and under enter for free.

The Oyster Roast fundraiser is a way to make a meaningful impact on the lives of youth in the Charleston area through mentorship programs. The event is open to the public, providing families the chance to have a fun time while contributing to a noble cause.

Highlights of the Oyster Roast fundraiser include:

• Oysters and chili will be served

• Live Music

• Kid-Friendly Activities

  • A jump castle, food trucks, and games

• A cash bar will be available for adults

All proceeds from the Oyster Roast will directly benefit Be A Mentor’s youth mentorship initiatives.
