Johns Island District 3 City Council Forum Set for Oct. 30th
The John’s Island community is invited to come together for a night of civic engagement at the John’s Island City Council Candidate Forum. This event will provide an opportunity to meet and engage with the candidates running for District 3, listen to their visions for the community, and participate in vital discussions on the future of John’s Island. The forum will take place on October 30th at 6 pm.
Live 5 News Anchor Ann McGill will moderate the session.
The candidates running for redistricted District 3 are Stephanie Hodges, Bill Antonucci, and Jim McBride. They will be in attendance to share their platforms, discuss key issues and address the concerns of the community. This new district covers mostly all of Johns Island, and Johns Island residents have a lot of questions about the future of this quickly turning land from rural landscape to consistent development and traffic issues.
The forum will be held 1684 Brownswood Rd. on John’s Island.
