Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce Welcomes New Office Administrator to Help Chamber Grow

The Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce (MPCC) is pleased to announce the hiring of Marion Lovett (above) as its new Office Administrator for its first brick and mortar location. While the space is undergoing renovations, Lovett will provide administrative support to the Chamber’s staff, volunteers, board of directors, and members.
“We are thrilled to welcome Marion Lovett to the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce Team,” said Jennifer Maxwell, President of the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce. “Her experience will be invaluable to us as we continue to grow and serve our members.”
Lovett’s occupational background includes the non-profit and social services sector and involvement with government organizations and political institutions. In addition, she is a dedicated Rotarian and serves as Public Image Chair of the Cainhoy Peninsula Rotary chapter.
Having prior experience working for a Chamber and achieving multi-organizational objectives, Lovett is looking forward to applying her skills in this new role. “I’m excited to assist the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce in cultivating an ecosystem that empowers entrepreneurs, engages the community, and supports the success of professionals and their businesses,” claims Lovett.
