Sippin’ Santa Opens at Prohibition on November 24th

The Christmas-themed pop-up bar, Sippin’ Santa, will return to Charleston’s Upper King Street. Beginning on Friday, November 24th, 2023, Prohibition will re-open its doors for the holiday season, unveiling an over-the-top Christmas wonderland decorated from floor to ceiling. The menus will feature festive original cocktails in Sippin’ Santa’s signature Christmas mugs and glassware; Prohibition’s culinary team will serve specialty dinner, brunch, and lunch menus created specially for the holiday season.

The cocktail menu will deliver some of Sippin’ Santa’s favorites from years past, including some festive twists on tiki classics, as well as some new Christmas cocktails crafted especially for the 2023 season. To enhance the holiday spirit, each cocktail will be served in a festive mug or glass, which are available for purchase. Cocktails will include the Merry Spritzmas, Ho Ho Hot Buttered Rum, the Holiday on Ice, and the Ginger Snapper.

Executive Chef Greg Garrison and his culinary team will serve holiday-inspired dishes for lunch, dinner, and brunch that highlight the flavors of the season. Fresh, local ingredients will be used whenever possible. Holiday dishes will include a variety of snacks and large plates, including White Hot Wings, Frosted Pecans & Almonds, Christmas Ham Croquettes finished with a pineapple glaze, and a Venison Terrine made with pistachio, cranberry, pork belly, whole grain mustard, and red endive.

Sippin’ Santa at Prohibition will be open daily from Friday, November 24th to Monday, January 1st. Sippin’ Santa will be open Monday to Friday from 11 am to 10 pm serving lunch and dinner, and Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 10 pm for brunch and dinner.
