Firefly Distillery Announces Expanded Annual Oyster Roast Series

Available now online, tickets start at $35 per person and are required for entry.

“Our oyster roast series has been one of our most fun and successful events over the years,” said Firefly Co-Owner Scott Newitt. “We’re looking forward to welcoming the community this year with even more custom-built oyster roast tables than ever and a few new food vendors to continue expanding these exciting events and elevating the oyster roast experience.”

The oyster roasts will run from 11 am until 5 pm with oysters being served from 12 pm to 4 pm. Special event features include a Bloody Mary bar with pickled garnishes, signature Firefly cocktails and mocktails, and select local Lowcountry brews for purchase. Guests are encouraged to bring their own oyster shucking gear and towels, lawn games, and chairs. Attendees can even catch the Sunday football games, as they are broadcast throughout the distillery.

While bottle sales are limited to Monday through Saturday, seasonal and signature Firefly cocktails will be available for purchase in the Tasting Room and Back Porch bars during these ticketed Sunday events. Tickets are required for all guests visiting the distillery during these events, but children 12 and under are free. A limited number of tickets are available per event and are encouraged to purchase in advance on Firefly’s website.
