Through a partnership with the nonprofit organization Heroes’ Movement, D1 Training East Cooper is offering free training sessions to veterans. This unique opportunity provides veterans with access to high-quality fitness training, allowing them to improve their physical health and overall well-being.

D1 Training East Cooper is known for its state-of-the-art facilities, experienced trainers, and personalized approach to fitness. The partnership with Heroes’ Movement reflects the organization’s commitment to giving back to those who have served our country. By providing free training sessions, D1 Training East Cooper hopes to empower veterans to achieve their fitness goals and lead healthier lives. “We are honored to collaborate with Heroes’ Movement’s offer to sponsor training sessions,” said D1 Training East Cooper owner Kristen Virgilio. “Our team is passionate about fitness and understands the positive impact it can have on individuals.

We want to extend that opportunity to veterans and help them achieve their fitness aspirations.” Heroes’ Movement is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening veterans’ physical and mental well-being through movement-based workouts and athletics, by sponsoring their training sessions at gyms. The partnership with D1 Training East Cooper expands Heroes’ Movement’s reach, enabling more veterans to benefit from tailored fitness programs.

Veterans interested in participating in the program can visit D1 Training East Cooper (1220 Ben Sawyer Boulevard, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464) and inquire about the Heroes’ Movement sponsorship. The program includes group classes, where veterans will join other adults, including veterans from a wide variety of military branches.

“We believe that a healthy body promotes a healthy mind, and through this partnership with D1 Training East Cooper, we are extending this transformative opportunity to veterans in the Charleston,” said Heroes’ Movement Founder Mike McKay.  “We are grateful for the support of D1 Training East Cooper and their dedication to making a difference in the lives of our veterans” This year, Heroes’ Movement has sponsored over 20,000 training sessions for veterans across the country.
