Nexton Ranks Among U.S.’s Most Popular Master-Planned Communities

Nexton was recognized as one of the 50 top-selling master-planned communities by RCLCO Real Estate Advisors. With a growing presence that includes cutting-edge office space, new residential and hospitality offerings and dining and retail options, the community has become a national model for mixed-use development.

Nexton is ranked #37 on the Top 50 list based on year-to-date home sales. Earlier in 2020, Nexton surpassed the 1,000-home milestone which was accomplished in just under five years.

Despite COVID-19, Nexton’s homes sales accelerated in recent months. Many of the community’s newest residents are former apartment dwellers who desire a yard and more space to work from home. Nexton has also attracted a growing number of retirees, many of whom are from the Northeastern U.S., whose plans to move south to enjoy warmer climate or live closer to family were fast-tracked in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.
