Music In The Park Event to Promote Peace & Love in Summerville
A group of local musicians and singers are coming together to promote love, peace, hope and a sense of comfort during these difficult times by taking part in a free live music event. The event will be held on Saturday, August 8th from 5 pm to 7 pm at Brown Family Park in Nexton (3000 Front St., Summerville)
This is a grassroots effort to encourage the public by spreading joy and positivity. This is a family-friendly event that will include a jumping castle for kids, free food and parking, and a live band. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and wear masks with proper 6-foot social distancing.
“With all we have been through in the past few months, let’s take this opportunity to unwind and be uplifted,” event organizer Natasha King said.
