Trident United Way to Host Teacher Thank-a-Thon
Trident United Way invites people across the Tri-County to thank teachers and school staff for a job well done as they embark on duties which will be vastly different than ever before.
The Teacher Thank-a-Thon runs from now through August 15th. Trident United Way is inviting everyone to go to this website and fill out a thank you to a teacher or school support worker. Trident United Way also has postcard-sized forms if people prefer to handwrite a message. The organization will distribute these thank you notes to our Tri-County school districts later in the fall.
The upcoming school year will bring unique challenges and Trident United Way wants to rally community support to give our teachers and staff a warm welcome back, no matter whether teachers or students are in the classroom or learning virtually.
