Solo Exhibition from Laurie Meyer Opening Next Month at Meyer Vogl Gallery
Nature Is Nurture, a solo exhibition from Laurie Meyer, opens on October 2nd at the Meyer Vogl Gallery.
“This is a silver lining story,” Meyer said about her new body of work. “The pandemic and its restrictions encouraged my much-needed relationship with nature. Since March, I walked, mountain hiked, walked some more, rode bikes on the beach, and walked some more. The slower pace was the gift! I looked and looked and saw what I was missing. It was nurturing to my soul, and thus, Nature is Nurture started to take shape. This is not a themed show, but instead a growth in a direction I plan to never leave.”
An all-day, pop-in opening celebration will be held on Friday, October 2nd, from 10 am to 5 pm, and the show runs until October 23rd. Visit meyervogl.com for more information.
