  • Deck the Dunes – With Distance at the Resort’s Holiday Festival

November 27 from 6-8 p.m., Activities 7-10 p.m.

Enjoy an all-inclusive, socially distanced holiday festival on Wild Dunes Resort’s croquet lawn. Up to four guests can reserve their own 10-by-10 square to kick back and relax with family bingo, a holiday movie, a virtual tree lighting and even a virtual appearance from the big man himself. Each personalized family square will be pre-set with two Wild Dunes Resort beach chairs, a blanket, a bucket of beverages, four popcorns and four bingo cards. There will also be three grab-and-go food stations, and heaters will be provided pending weather. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit https://bit.ly/2Tu3P2F.

  • Make ‘Snow’ Angels or Build Snowmen in the Sand

Parents can relax on the beach while children play in the sand on the resort’s endless shoreline. Families can get creative and build a ‘snowman’ or lay down, spread their wings and make ‘snow’ angels together. Guests are encouraged to snap a picture for social media and use Wild Dunes Resort’s #WDRSandAngels hashtag.

  • Drop Off a Letter to Santa at the Resort’s Official North Pole Mailbox

In November and December, children of all ages can drop off their letters to Santa at the Isle of Palms’ official mailbox for the North Pole, located in the resort’s Boardwalk Inn lobby. Kids can bring their already completed letters to mail to Santa or visit the front desk for supplies to craft a letter during their stay.

  • ‘Serve’ Up Holiday Spirit on the Resort’s Har-Tru Tennis Courts

Work off those holiday calories on Wild Dunes Resort’s 17 Har-Tru, green clay courts, including a stadium court. The resort offers five lit courts available for night play, and guests can enjoy daily complimentary court times, as well as access to the resort’s full-service Pro Shop and top-ranked instruction with professional instructors. For more information, visit https://bit.ly/35orzdU.

Children can ‘dash away’ like Comet, Cupid, Donner or Blitzen with contact-free bike rentals on Wild Dunes Resort’s sprawling property. Lucky visitors may even spot Isle of Palms very own ‘Rein’deer on the resort’s six miles of bike paths, nature trails and boardwalks.

  • Sip on a Seasonal Cocktail or Hot Chocolate at Coastal Provisions

Adults can enjoy seasonal craft cocktails at the vibrant bar, while children can savor hot chocolate at Coastal Provisions. Bright and cheery in the morning and afternoon while alluring and romantic in the evening, this upscale dining spot, located inside the Boardwalk Inn, offers family-friendly breakfast, lunch and dinner inside, outside, or on-the-go.

  • Host a Holiday Happy Hour for Friends

Make in-home holiday entertaining a breeze with Wild Dunes Resort’s festive, chef-prepared snack spread delivered to your doorstep. • Invite Family to a Vacation Rental for a Holiday Feast

  • Read “Twas the Night Before Christmas” and Eat Cookies with Santa

December 20-23 from 5-7 p.m.

Families can get in the holiday spirit with a personalized visit from Santa. Leading up to Christmas, parents can schedule milk and cookies to be delivered to their doorstep, along with a private visit from Mr. Claus himself. Kids will delight in the magic of the season as they follow along “Twas the Night Before Christmas” – read aloud by the big man himself, outside and from a safe, social distance. Each visit will be 10-15 minutes long, and this offer is limited to Wild Dunes Resort guests and Isle of Palms. For more information, visit https://bit.ly/2Tu3P2F.

Safety Protocols

Out of an abundance of caution, Wild Dunes Resort has adopted the Hyatt Global Care & Cleanliness Commitment, which includes rigorous hygiene standards and esteemed GBAC STAR(TM) accreditation. From contact-free check-in options and hospital-grade sanitizing practices to strict mask requirements for Resort colleagues and guests, Wild Dunes Resort will continue to implement new health and safety practices accordingly; encourage social distancing in all areas of the Resort; and ask that visitors follow safety and health precautions from the State of South Carolina and CDC during their stay.
