College of Charleston Panels Discuss the 2020 Presidential Election

The election may be over, but the examination of the 2020 presidential race continues.

As part of the College of Charleston (CofC) Critical Conversations series, CofC will host two post-election programs to focus on the 2020 presidential vote and the impact of the race. The programs will be held on November 10th and November 11th.

The College’s Bully Pulpit series will present the panel discussion The 2020 Presidential Election: Conjectures and Consequences on Nov. 10th. Moderated by Gibbs Knotts, dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the virtual program will feature political science professors Karyn Amira, Jordan Ragusa, Claire Wofford and communication professor Michael Lee. Remarks from the panel will be followed by a question and answer session with the audience.

The event is part of the Cougar Campaign 2020 series at the College of Charleston. The live virtual event will begin at 4 pm and can be accessed through Zoom.

On Nov. 11th, the College of Charleston Department of Political Science and the Political Science Club will present a virtual conversation featuring a panel of student campaign workers. The live Zoom program will be held at 4 pm and can be accessed through the Zoom app using Meeting ID number 910 7981 7520.

Both events are free and open to the public.
