Warrior Surf Foundation and Mex 1 Team Up for Second “Share The Stoke” Campaign
Charleston-based nonprofit Warrior Surf Foundation (WSF) is partnering with Mex 1 Coastal Cantina to launch its second “SHARE THE STOKE: Win a Board, Give A Board Raffle.” Each quarter, one local surfboard company will raffle off a hand-shaped board, as well as give a custom board to one lucky veteran graduate of the WSF program.
After partnering with Hoke Surfboards this summer, Tim Jump of Secula Surf is the local partner for this quarter, and will be working with the chosen veteran to shape and design their dream board from start to finish. Surfers wishing to win their own hand-shaped 5’9” Quad Fin from Secula can enter an online raffle now through December 19th.
The board up for auction (right) is a teal color with an indigo fabric inlay made from a local indigo grower and dyer on John’s Island, Gina Perez.
Raffle tickets are 10 for $10, 20 for $15 and 30 for $25. Online, you can also sign up to score additional free tickets when you share the designated link with friends. All money raised will go directly towards Warrior Surf Foundation’s Surf Therapy, Yoga and Wellness Programs to help our nation’s veterans struggling with PTSD, transitional issue and other mental health challenges.
