Galloway Out For The Season With ACL Injury

College of Charleston men’s basketball graduate senior and top returning player Brevin Galloway (Anderson,S.C.) is out for the remainder of the season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
The 6-foot-2 guard and team captain tore the ACL in his left knee after playing in eight minutes with 13 points in the first half of play against South Carolina State on Dec. 11. He was named to theAll-Colonial Athletic Association Second Team in the preseason.
In four games played this season, Galloway averaged a team-leading 15.0 points per game and shot 41.9 percent from behind the 3-point line. He also averaged 3.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists and recordeda career-high 27 points versus Marshall on Dec. 9.

Galloway, who graduated in May with bachelor’s degree in psychology, is currently pursuing his master’s degree in communication at The College. He has played in 75 career games with 66 starts sincehis redshirt freshman year in 2017-18. A 2020 CAA All-Defensive Team selection, Galloway ranks 20th all-time in career steals (115) and 15th in career three-pointers made (139) in the school record books.
