Main Library Temporarily Closed After Staff Members Test Positive for COVID-19
The Charleston County Public Library (CCPL) announced today that the Main Library at 68 Calhoun Street is temporarily closed following staff members testing positive for COVID-19.
Per CCPL’s response protocols, the library will be cleaned and sanitized by a certified third-party contractor. It is expected to reopen on Saturday, January 2nd. The book drop/return at the library is also closed during this time.
All employees known to have come into contact with COVID positive individuals are being notified and self-quarantine guidelines are being followed.
