Commonhouse Aleworks Celebrates Third Anniversary with Launch of unCOMMONly GOOD Beer Series

Commonhouse Aleworks on Thursday announced the “unCOMMONly GOOD Beer Series” to celebrate the brewery’s third anniversary and to support local organizations making an impact in the community.

The series will debut January 8th to the 10th with the launch of a quarterly beer release and merchandise to support organizations serving the community. The brewery says proceeds from the unCOMMONly GOOD Beer Series will be given to “community impact organizations across Commonhouse’s market footprint.”

“Producing and serving quality beer is table stakes for our organization,” said Commonhouse’s Proprietor Pearce Fleming. “Celebrating what we all share in common, and making a positive impact in the communities we serve is what drives our team. We have enjoyed collaborating with community impact organizations in the past and believe our unCOMMONly GOOD Beer Series will allow us to do more for and with these organizations in the future.”

The Inclusion Amber Ale is the first unCOMMONly GOOD beer in the series premiering on Friday, January 8th at the Commonhouse Aleworks taphouse. Proceeds from the event will benefit Park Circle Cares, a nonprofit organization with a passion to combat food insecurity in the Lowcountry through mass food distributions in Park Circle and neighboring communities.

“Park Circle Cares was one of the first community impact organizations we worked with early in the life of our business,” Fleming said. “Given the growing number of people struggling with food insecurity as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we felt it appropriate and timely to give proceeds from our inaugural unCOMMONly GOOD beer in support of Park Circle Care’s mission.”

Commonhouse Aleworks is located at 4831 O’Hear Ave. in North Charleston.
