Park Circle Pride to Feature Six Days of Events Celebrating the LGBTQ+ Community
From June 1st to June 6th, Park Circle Pride, a new annual festival celebrating the LGBTQ+ community in Park Circle/North Charleston, will host six days of eclectic events throughout the area. The festival will benefit local organizations We Are Family and Alliance for Full Acceptance (AFFA).
Park Circle Pride will feature more than 30 events over the course of the week at neighborhood restaurants, breweries, bars, retail stores, and more. Events include:
- Pride Flag Raising with Mayor Keith Summey
- Silent Disco
- Drag Brunches
- Art Walk
- Poetry Stage
- Queer Youth Fest
- Trivia
- Drag Bingo
- A Pride Ball
- Drag Queen Children’s Story Hour
- Panels
- Live Music
- Workshops
- Ax Throwing and more
Participating Park Circle Venues include Commonhouse Aleworks, Southern Roots Smokehouse, The Sparrow, Stardust Tattoo, Ship’s Wheel, The Mill, DIG In The Park, The Bearded Ax, Holy City Brewing, Firefly Distillery, The Junction Kitchen & Provisions, Itinerant Literate Books, Sesame, Madra Rua, LoLA, Stems & Skins, South of Broadway Theatre Company, and more.

Park Circle Pride is produced by Simon Cantlon of Vive Le Rock Productions in partnership with the Park Circle Business Collective. Cantlon is also the producer of the Annual Rockabillaque Festival.
