Let the Uproad app be your toll payment account

If you use toll roads a lot, you might like Uproad as it makes transponders and cash payments unnecessary. This app is free and available in Google Play & App Store.

Uproad initially launched in California. They’re already operating in Delaware, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia. They aim to achieve nationwide coverage as soon as possible. With that in mind, it’s apparent that they will partner with most of the toll agencies in the US quite soon.

With hundreds of toll agencies operating in different states, this app can become your one-stop solution to pay tolls, estimate your trip costs, and save money by avoiding fines or toll violations.

Uproad is easy to use: each time you pass a toll, you get a push notification with the estimated pricing. While you drive, the app connects to the tolling authority’s database and submits your license plate information. Once the agency confirms the toll amount, it’s paid automatically using your account balance funds or the payment method linked to your account.

You can set your account to auto-refill, and the app will top up your balance automatically whenever it gets low. This way, you won’t have to worry about late payments. And here’s the best part! Uproad accepts more payment options than toll agency payment systems or other mobile tolling apps. You can use Venmo, PayPal, and Credit Cards.

Once you’ve installed this app, just add a vehicle, and you’ll be able to start using Uproad the next morning. If you live in California or Texas, your vehicle will be activated with local tolling authorities immediately. Depending on your location, this app takes care of payment for tolls that you passed a couple of days ago, but only if you haven’t met the toll agency payment deadline yet.

With Uproad, you save time, effort, and sometimes money since they have lower toll rates for some roads. Since Uproad sends all payments to toll agencies on time, you’ll avoid fines or fees that some agencies charge for mailing a paper bill to you.

Among other convenient features, you’re able to track business and personal expenses separately. You can also calculate the price for your drive with their in-built trip calculator before you even hit the road. To ensure you don’t pay too much for your trip, Uproad navigates you to take free roads when possible.

For each toll payment processed, you’ll have to pay a small fee. But frequent drivers can avoid that by getting a $1.99 monthly Pro membership, which offers a lower fee.

Uproad makes your trips more cost-efficient and easy. Download it on Google Play or App Store today and start driving tomorrow!
