Brasserie la Banque to Open on July 2nd
Brasserie la Banque, a French restaurant from three-time James Beard Award nominated restauranteur Steve Palmer, will be opening its doors to the public on Friday, July 2nd.
Inspired by Palmer’s passion for the classic Parisian brasserie, the restaurant will pay homage to traditional French cuisine in what their team is calling “a lively and welcoming environment suitable for all of life’s memorable moments—from impromptu drinks to convivial gatherings and leisurely meals.”
The menu, created by Charleston chef Jeb Aldrich (right), will feature a selection of traditional French dishes, such as Duck Consomme, Foie Gras Torchon, and Steak Frites, alongside much more.
Aptly named for the location’s previous role as a bank, Brasserie la Banque is housed within the city’s iconic 1 Broad Street corner building that dates back to the 1700s.
The restaurant will be opening for dinner service with additional hours for lunch and late-night coming soon.
