Jammin’ for Jammer at the Windjammer!
There’s a pretty unique event taking place at the Windjammer tonight. “Jammin’ for Jammer” kicks off at 7pm and will feature music, food, drinks, a silent auction and Jammer merchandise for sale.
The event is named after Jammer, a sea turtle that was rescued near the famed Isle of Palms bar back in April. Jammer has been recovering at the South Carolina Aquarium’s Sea Turtle Hospital ever since.
Funds from the party will go to the Sea Turtle Rescue program and many IOP businesses are pitching in. Each restaurant on the beach is donating food. Plus, there will be three local bands providing some live music!
