The Barrier Islands Free Medical Clinic (BIFMC) will join with Dottie’s Pharmacy to host a FREE COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Friday, August 27th for those ages 12 and older. No appointments, insurance, or ID necessary. This free drive-through event will take place from 2 pm to 4:30 pm at Live Oak Church, located at 3407 Maybank Hwy, Johns Island. The event will offer options for Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, and Moderna.

The FDA today gave full approval to the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine. All vaccines are a safe and effective way to prevent death, hospitalization, and severe symptoms of coronavirus.

The event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Currently, BIFMC treats over 450 uninsured patients a month, including adults who live or work across the Barrier Islands or who serve downtown Charleston’s hospitality or tourism industry. For more information on free health care eligibility, visit www.bifmc.org.
