Deep Water Vineyard Hosting 17th Annual Grape Stomp Festival This Saturday
Deep Water Vineyard will host the 17th Annual Grape Stomp Festival on Saturday, August 28th from 10 am to 6 pm. The event includes food, drinks, vendors, grape stomping competition, Lucille Ball look-a-like contest, and more.
Here’s a rundown of what to expect:
- Live Music
- Well Charged and Mike Martin & the Beautiful Mess
- Food
- Jonny Poppers, Cafe Roux, Braised in the South, A Boy and His Dogs, and Holy City Cupcakes
- Vendors
- Many local vendors to choose from
- Drinks
- Tastings from Deep Water Vineyard and Bears Bluff Meadery as well as mixed drinks, wine-a-ritas, and beer
- Contests
- You can sign up for the stomp contest online, they will have 3 adult stomps and 1 kid stomp
- $10 to stomp with a chance to win prizes (kids 5 and under are free)
- The vineyard will have some barrels with grapes to stomp if you don’t want to enter the competition and are just looking for a photo opportunity
- Lucy look-a-like contest
- You can sign up for the stomp contest online, they will have 3 adult stomps and 1 kid stomp
- Allowed
- Well-behaved dogs, kids, and adults
- Lawn chairs, umbrellas, blankets
- Not Allowed
- Coolers and outside beverages
- Unbehaved adults and dogs

- 2:00 – 2:45 – Well Charged
- 2:50 – 2nd Adult Stomp
- 3:20 – 4:05 – Well Charged
- 4:10 – 4:40 – 3rd Adult Stomp
- 4:45 – 5:00 – Lucy Look-a-like Contest
- 5:00 – 5:45 – Well Charged
