Hobcaw Brewing Company Announces One Year Anniversary Party
Hobcaw Brewing Company is celebrating its one year anniversary on September 11th and plans to throw a huge party to mark the milestone. The free event runs from 1 pm to 9 pm and will feature a BBQ pop-up, live music all day, three new beer releases, a bounce castle for kids, and sweets from Little Peanut Pastries.
The party will be at the brewery’s facility at 496 Long Point Road in Mount Pleasant, which features an outdoor patio, foosball, and multiple TVs. Leashed dogs are welcome to join the festivities.
Food for the event will be sold by Palmira BBQ, a locally-based pop-up that prides itself on sustainable farm-to-table products. They use only heritage pork which is sourced from Peculiar Pig Farm near Summerville. For the party, they will have smoked brisket, beef cheeks, pulled pork, handmade hot links, and much more.
Live music will be provided by Charleston-based musicians Thomas Champagne (1:30 pm to 4:30 pm) followed by Julie Slonecki (4 pm to 8 pm).
Since opening its doors in September 2020, Hobcaw has brewed over 40 different beers. They’re created in small, 5-barrel batches which allows for a new beer to be released every week. Click here for more information.
