Revelry Brewing Celebrates 7-Year Anniversary with Block Party Benefiting The Green Heart Project
Charleston’s own Revelry Brewing Company is celebrating 7 years with its annual block party benefiting Farm to School non-profit organization, The Green Heart Project.
The 7 Year Block Party will take place on Halloween from 12 pm – 6 pm at 10 Conroy Street. The “Alice in Wonderland” themed event encourages guests to dress up and enjoy Revelry brews and food from vendors including: The Darling Oyster Bar, JL’s Southwest Brisket Burgers, Mex 1, and Tobo Sushi. DJ Sparkbox will perform for the crowd while The Goatery welcomes guests for furry photo opps with their baby goats.
“This is, without a doubt, our favorite event of the year, and we are proud to celebrate it next to our partners at The Green Heart Project,” said Revelry Brewing partner Sean Fleming. “The block party is the perfect blend of loyal patrons, the F&B community and our favorite non-profit. It is also our official Charleston Beer Week event, which we are a proud sponsor of!”
Tickets are $10, available online at City Paper Tickets and at the door until the event reaches capacity. Children under 10 are free and, as always, so are dogs. 100% of ticket sales will benefit The Green Heart Project’s Farm to School programs. This event alone has raised over $114,163 in 6 years.
“We love supporting local businesses, and especially those that bring people together and prioritize giving back to their community – Revelry is all of that and more.” said Amanda Howell, Green Heart Project’s Development Director, “We’re honored to be the non-profit partner of this event for the 7th year in a row, and are excited to cultivate community while raising funds for our school gardens and Farm to School programs!”
