“Butcher Stories” Returns with Three Shows at the New Old Trolley Theatre
Comedian Andy Livengood is bringing his one man show back for his first performances since the start of the pandemic. Butcher Stories is based off of the hit blog and features 100% real interactions with insane customers.
Performances will take place at Old Trolley Theatre in Summerville (102 Old Trolley Rd) on November 18th, 19th, and 20th. Each show starts at 8 pm.
Livengood (Theatre 99, The Christmas Will Be Televised) will take audiences on a hilarious and heartfelt tour of strange coworkers, clueless managers, and crazy customers. In fact, the show features over 30 characters – all played by Livengood.
This run of shows is especially timely as the final act takes place on Thanksgiving, a day filled with panicked last minute shoppers.
“The genesis of this show was Thanksgiving,” said Livengood, “I started posting stories about customers that were losing their minds because we were out of turkeys. It got so much of a response that I started the blog.”
