Holy City Sinner Founder to Moderate Panel on “The Influence of Meme Culture”

On Wednesday, November 10th, Holy City Sinner founder Christian Senger will moderate a panel discussion in the Rita Liddy Hollings Science Center auditorium on the College of Charleston campus. The event is being hosted by South Carolina Humanities, the state program of the National Endowment for the Humanities, serving the Palmetto State with inspiring, engaging, and enriching programming encouraging open dialogue.

The free panel discussion about the influence of meme culture on news and journalism will include panelists:

  • Ryan Milner, the chair of the Department of Communication at the College of Charleston
  • Abby Ohlheiser, the senior editor at MIT Technology Review
    • Unfortunately, Ohlheiser is no longer able to attend
  • Emory Parker, the data project manager at STAT

This event is free and open to the public but tickets are required, so be sure to snag yours here. The event will start at 6 pm.

The Rita Liddy Hollings Science Center is located at 58 Coming Street.
