Exciting Shows for The Gaillard Centre in 2022

The holiday season is here and Christmas is just around the corner – whilst this often means a winter break for the big sporting events and punters turning to big services like puntersport.com to find other entertainment alternatives, it often means that local venues are ramping up on the big shows to close out the year and head into the next – the Charleston Gaillard has had some exciting recent news for comedy fans as names like Aziz Ansari will be heading to the venue to perform in late December, but there’s some further excitement to come in the summer for comedy fans yet.

As one of the best-selling comedy recording artists of all time racking up some impressive accolades including being a five-time Grammy award winner and may make a fantastic late gift for anyone who has enjoyed any of the top-40 single hits that have made it into the charts over the last four decades. With a meet and greet experience on offer too, it’s an opportunity that shouldn’t be missed for longer term fans who have been hoping to catch a show following the up and down news over the past two years for live events – whilst it’ll be a long wait until the summer, there are other venues starting earlier in the year too.

Weird Al isn’t the only big name that will be attending the Gaillard throughout 2022 either, Neil DeGrasse Tyson has been confirmed to continue on his Astrophysicist Goes to the Movies tour where he breaks down all of the science in the latest TV and Movie hits, what they got wrong and what they got right with a nice comedic spin and some enlightening reviews for the science minded out there. Michael Bolton will also be getting the new year off to a musical start for the Gaillard centre too, coming to Charleston in January, the appearance continues over fifty years of contributions to the entertainment industry and will continue to deliver on some of his biggest hits following the most recent #1 album to hit the billboard classic charts – if Weird Al’s comedy music isn’t to the liking, then perhaps Michael Bolton is more of a favourite.

Currently events have only been scheduled at the Gaillard until the summer with shows coming post-August yet to be announced, but it’s about time to get back out there and enjoy some live shows after a tough couple of years and live entertainment from some of the biggest stars in the world in many different genres is a great way to have fun once again.
