RiverDogs Present Zero k “Race”

If you’re like me, finding motivation to “run for fun” is damn near impossible.

It doesn’t mean we look down on road races – they can be lots of fun. We certainly don’t mind the post-race parties and freebies, but we just don’t want to get up and run to them.

Enter the Charleston RiverDogs’ zerok. The organization will give you a t-shirt, race packet, race bib, dinner, awards ceremony and access to the “post-race” party – all without having to participate in one of those pesky road races.

The zerok is scheduled for April 25th at 6 pm at Joe Riley park. Tickets cost $25 and includes all of the above, plus one beer. From there, “runners” can also take advantage of all normal Thirsty Thursday drink prices.
