A Look At The Current Super Bowl LVI Odds

Published

on

The Super Bowl 2022 is set to play on February 13, 2022, at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles. The league is normally played every first Sunday of February, but since it adopted a new seventeen-game schedule, the date will be pushed back by one week.

There will be 14 NFL teams partaking in the postseason, and the fight to represent the NFC and AFC in the Super Bowl LVI seems wide open. And because there is still no official order among the contenders this year, online sports betting sites and sportsbooks will likely rely on one factor: the quarterback position.

With that said, NFL teams with quality quarterbacks will probably get the edge in the NFL 2022 postseason. Here’s a breakdown of the current Super Bowl 2022 odds.

The odds are subject to change. So, be sure to check the FanDuel NFL Super Bowl odds to be up to date with the latest changes.

Dallas Cowboys+1200
Los Angeles Rams+900
Buffalo Bills+800
Tampa Bay Buccaneers+700
Kansas City Chiefs+500
Green Bay Packers+400

The Green Bay Packers have appeared as the new favorite. This fact does not surprise many sports fans because Aaron Rodgers has led the team to be the number one seed in the National Football Conference (NFL) with a 13-4 record.

The Kansas City Chiefs climbed up to the number two spot. They were the favorite before the season. Although the chiefs are the American Football Conference (AFC) favorite, they are not the number one seed in the conference. The spot belongs to the Tennessee Titans.

Best NFL Team to Bet

The best favorite to bet is the Kansas City Chiefs. While they started the season calmly and steadily, the team has worked things out in the past weeks. Additionally, even though their offense is not as powerful as it once was, their stop unit has improved with Chris Jones covering the interior defensive line.

This formation will undoubtedly make The Chiefs one of the most perfectly weighted teams of the postseason. What’s more, the team’s path to the NFL 2022 Super Bowl LVI will less likely be daunting than expected, thanks to a playoff matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

However, The Chiefs will still need to get past the Titans, Bengals, and Bills to win. And since Kansas City has the second shortest odds, they are likely the most befitting competitor against the Packers.

Best Underdog Bet

The best underdog bet is probably the San Francisco 49ers. The team doesn’t have many flaws and shortcomings, and Jimmy Garoppolo (quarterback) has led the 49ers to a Super Bowl before.

Ambry Thomas and other younger players of the team have stepped up in recent weeks, improving the cornerback line. The 49ers have a lot of excellent offensive players like Elijah Mitchell, Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle, and Deebo Samuel.

On top of that, their defensive line is robust as well. Plus, the team’s pass rush could even shake off the likes of Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. Are the San Francisco 49ers likely to reach the Super Bowl?

Unfortunately, the answer is NO. Even so, the 49ers are a great value pick, at 31 to 1 odds. In the first round of the NFL postseasons, the 49ers will face the Cowboys. A surprise Super Bowl run will be more likely if they can knock the Cowboys off.

Best Mid-tier Value Pick

The best mid-tier value pick is the Tennessee Titans. This team has been one of the most consistent and best NFL teams in the season. Thanks to their first-round bye, the Titans will only need to win twice to get to the 2022 Super Bowl.

Other than that, the team’s defense has been pretty solid. Plus, the Titans’ pass rush can disturb the composure of the opponents they’re about to face. But are the Tennessee Titans better than the Kansas City Chiefs?

Well, probably not. Even so, the team has performed well against elite teams this year and is well-coached. Also, they seem more than ready to compete in the NFL postseason. Hence, feel free to make a bet with them.

Takeaway

With the Super Bowl LVI just around the corner, it’s probably time to start making bets. The early favorites to win the Super Bowl are the Kansas City Chiefs, the Green Bay Packers, and the San Francisco 49ers.

The Chiefs have been playing great football all season, and they’re looking like a team that could go all the way. The Packers have also been playing well this year, and they have a lot of experience in big games. The 49ers are a bit of a dark horse, but they’ve been on a roll lately, and they could pull off an upset.
