Charleston Hemp Collective to Launch “Wellness Warrior” Tincture
The team behind Charleston Hemp Collective has announced they will be adding a new product to their ever-evolving line of CBD products. The “Wellness Warrior” tincture is a special addition as the business says studies show the ingredients potentially have the properties to prevent and treat the COVID-19 virus.
The tincture contains a 1:1:1:1 ratio of CBGa, CBDa, CBG & CBD (a blend of rare cannabinoids), which have become the subject of a study from the 2022 American Chemical Society and American Society of Pharmacognosy. In this study, researchers found that two cannabinoid acids commonly found in hemp, cannabigerolic acid, or CBGA, and cannabidiolic acid, also known as CBDA, can bind to the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid-19. By binding to the spike protein, the compounds can prevent the virus from entering cells and causing infection, potentially offering new ways to prevent and treat the disease.
