Press Release

Charleston Wine + Food is returning in March with 100-plus live events and more ways to engage than ever. What better way to get in on the action than to dine at the myriad of restaurants in the Charleston area? Charleston Wine + Food is kicking off a month-long campaign in conjunction with OpenTable, the world’s leading provider of online restaurant reservations, encouraging guests and locals alike to book dining reservations for festival-week.

Reservations and in-restaurant dining are a great way to experience the local food and beverage scene and directly support the industry. Charleston Wine + Food kicks off the high-traffic spring season in the city and is one of the busiest weeks of the year for local restaurants. Over the last 16 years, the festival has welcomed nearly 335,000 attendees and generated over $112.2 million in economic impact.

“It’s no secret that Charleston is celebrated for its renowned restaurant community. After the hard hits that the COVID-19 pandemic has imposed on this industry, we’re excited for people to experience and celebrate Charleston and the bites, sips, and hospitality that make it so special,” said Alyssa Smith, the organization’s Marketing + Communications Director.

This year’s schedule of events showcases all that Charleston has to offer, with over 100 experiences dedicated to highlighting the Lowcountry’s diverse culinary + hospitality community. Tickets are currently on sale at chswf.com.
