Uptown Social Named Top Vendor by The Knot Best of Weddings 2022

Uptown Hospitality Group, the Charleston-based group known for its creative and socially-driven concepts, was recently recognized as a winner of The Knot Best of Weddings 2022. Presented each year by The Knot, the nation’s largest source for wedding news, inspiration and planning, the awards recognize the highest rated local wedding vendors as reviewed by couples, families, and wedding guests. Uptown Social, Uptown Hospitality Group’s flagship King Street concept, received the Best of Weddings award for “Best Rehearsal Dinners, Bridal Shower and Parties” category.

The 16^th annual Best of Weddings awards recognize the highest rated local wedding vendors as reviewed by couples, families, and wedding guests on The Knot. This year, five percent of local wedding vendors listed on The Knot received the distinguished Best of Weddings award. To determine the winners, The Knot analyzed millions of user reviews across various vendor categories—including venues, musicians, florists, photographers, caterers and more—to determine the highest rated vendors of the year.

Uptown Social opened on King Street in 2018 and quickly cemented itself as the it-spot for locals and visitors alike thanks to its vibrant atmosphere, happening rooftop, iconic “Social Butterfly” mural, live music calendar and comprehensive food and beverage menu including thin and crispy bar pies from Brooklyn pizza legend Anthony Falco and large-format cocktails perfect for groups.
