Wallethub: South Carolina Is 2022’s 10th Worst State for Singles

WalletHub recently released its study on 2022’s Best & Worst States for Singles and South Carolina ranked as the 10th WORST in the country.

To help unattached Americans improve their chances of finding love, WalletHub compared the 50 states across 30 key indicators of dating-friendliness. The data set ranges from the share of single adults to online-dating opportunities to restaurants per capita.

Dating in South Carolina (1=Best; 25=Avg.):

• 20^th – % of Single Adults
• 23^rd – Gender Balance of Singles
• 44^th – Online-Dating Opportunities
• 37^th – Mobile-Dating Opportunities
• 40^th – Median Annual Household Income (Adjusted for Cost of Living)
• 18^th – Restaurants per Capita
• 44^th – Movie Theaters per Capita
• 46^th – Crime Rate
• 40^th – Percentage of Residents 12+ Who Are Fully Vaccinated
