For the fourth time in history, PBR’s (Professional Bull Riders) Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour will stop at the North Charleston Coliseum on February 4th and 5th with the PBR Bad Boy Mowers Collision at the Coliseum.

For two nights only, some of the best bull riders in the world will battle in one of the most exciting live sporting events to witness. For more information on the event, click here.

The upcoming event in the Palmetto State is anticipated to feature riders from three nations including the United States, Brazil, and Canada. The list of international hopefuls includes Brazilian standout and 2002 PBR World Champion Ednei Caminhas and Canadian young gun Griffin Smeltzer.

Leading the United States contingent and seeking his second qualification to the prestigious PBR World Finals in 2022 is Dakota Louis. Of both Northern Cheyenne and Blackfeet descent, Louis is one of the top Native American riders in PBR, also a three-time Indian National Finals Champion bull rider. A persistent competitor, Louis began to break through in 2020, logging his best year with the league amid a career that has spanned nearly a decade. With his stock continuing to rise, the future is bright for Louis and he will make the journey to South Carolina fresh off his Velocity Tour event win last weekend in Jacksonville. Going a perfect 2-for-2, including a Round 1-winning, 86-point score on Judgement Day in the opening round, Louis netted a critical 39 world points, surging 81 positions in the world standings from No. 124 to No. 43.

The bull riding action for the 2022 PBR Bad Boy Mowers Collision at the Coliseum begins with Round 1 at 8 pm on Friday, February 4th, followed by Round 2 and the championship round at 7 pm on Saturday, February 5th.

Forty-five bull riders will get on one bull each in Round 1. Round 2 on Saturday evening will feature the Top 30 riders from the opening round. Following, the riders’ individual two-round scores will be totaled with the Top 15 advancing to the championship round for one more out and a chance at the event title.
