Black Food Truck Festival Drives into Summerville This April

The second Black Food Truck Festival will be held on both Saturday, April 23rd and Sunday, April 24th at the Cane Bay Family YMCA in Summerville (1655 Cane Bay Boulevard). The family-friendly event will highlight food talent and local musicians and will serve as a celebration of Black culture.

The festival runs from noon to 6 pm on both days will include:
  • A variety of food trucks
  • Entertainment
    • Saturday
      • DJ Honcho – AlL Day
      • Psycodelics – 2 pm to 3:30 pm
      • La’Faye – 4:30 pm to 6 pm
    • Sunday
      • Deejay Rubin – 12 pm to 6 pm
      • Tommy Brown – 2 pm to 3:30 pm
      • Black Diamond Band – 4:30 pm to 6 pm
  • Kid Zone
    • Carolina Gamerz
    • Palmetto Archery
The Black Food Truck Festival says their mission is to make an “economic and social impact on the community while investing into other Black-owned businesses throughout the city.” The first festival was in November of 2021 and led to over $225,000 being invested back into the community.
