March 12th Farmers Market Canceled Due to Inclement Weather Forecast
Due to high winds and heavy rain forecast for Saturday, March 12th, 2022, the Charleston Farmers Market in Marion Square has been canceled. The Market is expected to resume on Saturday, March 19th, 2022, weather permitting.
The market will be closed March 26th and April 2nd for the Cooper River Bridge Run prep and event before resuming April 9th.
“The safety of Farmers Market patrons and vendors is our top priority, which is why, in consultation with the National Weather Service Charleston, we’ve made the decision to cancel this weekend’s market,” City of Charleston Emergency Management Director Shannon Scaff said. “We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Marion Square under sunny skies.”
