Mex 1’s Annual Block Party Returns to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo; Tickets Go On Sale Wednesday
Mex 1 Coastal Cantina will be hosting their annual Cinco de Mayo Block Party on May 5th, 2022, at their West Ashley location – 817 St. Andrews Blvd. Doors for this fun-filled event will open at 5 pm, and there will be live music from The Midnight City Band, a local alternative pop-indie band, starting at 6:30 pm.
Guests can expect multiple bars, food tents, and local vendors at the festivities.
Mex 1 is partnering with Warrior Surf Foundation (WSF) for this year’s Cinco de Mayo bash. There will be a live auction to benefit the nonprofit the night of the event. WSF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works to provide free surf therapy, wellness coaching, yoga, and community to Veterans struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, transition issues, and other mental health issues.
Tickets for the Mex 1 Block Party can be purchased online prior to the event through City Paper Tickets beginning Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022. You can enjoy an early bird discount (50%) through Sunday, March 27th, 2022. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door the night of.
