The Junior League of Charleston’s 2022 Gown Affair

The Junior League of Charleston (JLC) is calling all blushing brides and high school sweethearts in search of a wedding, bridesmaids, wedding guest, or cocktail dress to attend their special shopping event, A Gown Affair. 

Taking place on April 24th, 2022, A Gown Affair will be held from noon to 3 pm at The Mills House in the Signers Ballroom. General admission is free and open to the public. The Junior League of Charleston is also selling a limited number of VIP tickets, which give you early access to the sale. For $25, you’ll be able to shop in advance before the doors open from 11 am to 12 pm while enjoying light bites and beverages. For a limited time, get a VIP ticket for $20 during their Flash Sale, now through April 5th. Ticket sales end on April 17th. 

With almost 500 gowns from such luxury boutiques as Bella Bridesmaid, Magnolia Bride and Verita Bridal, you’ll find a wide variety of colors, sizes, and styles to choose from. Whether you are getting married this spring, going to prom, or simply have a spring full of social plans, A Gown Affair is the perfect way to find a beautiful dress for any special occasion that you have coming up.

All proceeds from the sale will support the Junior League of Charleston’s mission, whose purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. It is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
