Post House Makes Travel + Leisure’s “It List”
This year’s “It List” was selected by Travel + Leisure editors, who said they “spent the last year obsessively tracking debuts and major overhauls, consulting our trusted network of travel pros and globe-hopping writers, and crossed the world in search of the most memorable, game-changing hotels of the year.”
Helmed by Kate and Ben Towill of Basic Projects, a local hospitality and design studio, Post House opened in August 2020 in the Old Village neighborhood of Mt. Pleasant. The venue features a ground floor tavern and bar and seven hotel rooms on the second and third floors.
“We are honored and humbled to be recognized in such a prestigious guide,” said Ben Towill. “As avid travelers, we often consult Travel + Leisure’s ‘It List’ for the best places to visit and it’s truly a thrill to think that Post House is now in that category. We’re very proud of our hardworking team for creating such a special and welcoming place for our community and Charleston’s visitors.”
