Sixth Annual Fido Fest Benefiting Charleston Animal Society Returns to Mount Pleasant Towne Centre

Mount Pleasant Towne Centre has once again partnered with local animal-lovers to host the sixth annual Fido Fest, an afternoon celebrating our four-legged friends and benefitting the Charleston Animal Society. Kicking off at noon on Saturday, April 23rd, the community can enjoy an afternoon of special contests and giveaways, live music and entertainment, food and drinks, and special training sessions for the pups. The free-to-attend event will be emceed by Brian Cleary of 92.5 Kickin’ Country.

The event includes:

  • A special gift for the first 150 dogs to stop by the registration table
  • Local artisans at The Oaks (across from Barnes & Noble)
    • Fun caricatures, balloon animals, glitter tattoos, and face painting
  • BeastMode Dog Training
    • Complimentary training sessions on obedience and protection
  • Live music by 40 Years Too Late, a Charleston-based cover band
  • Cocktails will be available from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, plus beer and wine from Burtons Grill + Bar
  • Additional vendors
    • Madrigals Tacos, Mac Daddy Food Truck, New Dog Hot Dogs, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Holy City Popcorn, and Holy City Homemade Italian Ice.
  • Contests
    • Dog and Owner Look-A-Like, Waggiest Tail, Peanut Butter Eating, A Face Only A Mom Could Love and the Cutest Dog
  • Giveaways
  • Games and more
