Family Fest to Debut on Johns Island This Weekend; Part Of The Proceeds will Help Local Family in Need

The Islanders Farmers Market and Everland Inflatables will host the first ever Family Fest on Johns Island on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022. Attendees can enjoy games, food, and prizes while helping to raise money for a local family in need.

Food trucks will be on site and beverages will be sold by a local family who is raising funds to support their expenses after their 14-year-old child, Chayanne, had to undergo a heart transplant. Chayanne’s surgery at a local hospital lasted around 17 hours and he remained in the hospital for four months. Chayanne is currently at home recovering, but still requires a feeding tube in addition to recovering from damage to his pancreas.

Family Fest will run from 12 pm to 6 pm at 3546 Maybank Highway on Johns Island. Parking is free and each vendor, including inflatables, will have their own pricing.

Family Fest will feature inflatables like, “The Edge,” a 34-ft inflatable that boasts twin 60-degree drop slides, a Looney Tune’s themed inflatable, and more. Parents can enjoy horseshoes, corn hole, and giant Connect 4.
