Press Release

WALTERBORO, S.C. (April 22, 2022) – Effective Monday, April 25, Labor and Delivery patients may have three adult visitors (including a delivery support person) in the Labor and Delivery Suite. Each visitor will receive a wristband that must be worn at all times.

Only the designated support person may remain in the room during delivery and overnight. The remaining two visitors may visit pre and post-delivery, during normal visiting hours. Visitors may not switch out or exchange wristbands as bands will be registered to the individual.

Siblings may visit the newborn but must be accompanied by one of the three designated visitors.
