South Carolina Lede Podcast to Host Live Taping Event in Sumter
South Carolina ETV (SCETV) and Public Radio, along with the ETV Endowment of South Carolina, will host a live taping of the South Carolina Lede podcast at Sumter Original Brewery on Thursday, April 28th at 6:30 pm.
At the event, South Carolina Lede host Gavin Jackson will lead a discussion with some of the state’s most prominent political journalists, discussing the upcoming state primaries. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Sumter Original Brewery, which is located at 2 South Main Street in Sumter.
South Carolina Lede is a weekly podcast about the people and issues shaping South Carolina state politics. Listeners can catch up on episodes by subscribing to the South Carolina Lede in Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or their favorite podcast app.
“These live tapings allow us to show our listeners what actually goes into making the podcast,” Jackson said. “I love getting to meet the people that listen to us each week and listen what they think about the show.”
While the event is free and open to the public, space is limited and early registration is recommended. Attendees are encouraged to interact with the South Carolina Lede on Twitter using #LedeLaughLove.
