The Beach Company Announces Four New Hires and One Promotion
The Beach Company today announced four new hires and one promotion.
Bobby Tapp has been hired as the senior project manager for Kiawah River where he will oversee the Kiawah River builder program and manage new amenity development projects. Before joining The Beach Company, he worked for Kiawah Partners for 16 years where he managed the construction of developer owned amenity projects as well as the company’s “Built for Sale Program.” Originally from Columbia, S.C., Tapp earned his Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of South Carolina.
Korey Smith was recently promoted to manager of special projects at The Beach Company’s downtown headquarters. In this expanded role, he will be responsible for the management and execution of new company strategic projects, research and initiatives across various departments including the executive and development departments. Smith joined The Beach Company in 2018 and recently served as a development associate. Before joining The Beach Company, Smith gained relevant industry experience at Related Companies as an analyst for the Hudson Yard project in New York, N.Y. Originally from Charlotte, N.C., Smith earned his bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance and economics from the University of South Carolina.
Brooklyn Paul has been hired as a leasing consultant at The Jasper where she will lead tours, answer resident questions and concerns and handle leasing communications. Prior to joining The Beach Company, Paul was a leasing professional at Elan Midtown in Charleston. Originally from Columbia, S.C., she received her Associates in Science from the Culinary Institute of Charleston.
Lauren Moniz has been hired as a sales assistant for Kiawah River where she will support and work with team members to achieve their sales goals. Before joining the Kiawah River team, Moniz started a catering and event design operation in Charleston, was the director of retail restaurants at the Citadel and worked as a property manager for the Kiawah Island Club. Originally from Charleston, S.C., she attended Trident Technical College and has a real estate license.
Michelle Feix has been hired as the software and database manager for Kiawah River where she will assist the sales and administrative teams with reporting, data entry and overall use of the Propertybase/Salesforce CRM database system. In addition, she will train individuals in all aspects of this system and will assist the Kiawah River team with other development and builder related items in the future. Feix has 17 years of experience in the real estate industry and has held various positions including administrative assistant, closing coordinator, builder projects coordinator and builder development coordinator. Originally from Defiance, Ohio, Feix graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Kent State University and has a real estate salesman license.
