Firefly Distillery Plans Barrel Proof Bourbon Release for National Bourbon Day
Firefly Distillery will celebrate National Bourbon Day (June 14th) by releasing a special select Barrel Proof Bourbon bottled at 122 proof. The distillery has previously released only two other cask strength bourbons, each selling out within hours.Firefly says this special select barrel “offers a warm and velvety flavor profile accompanied by a hint of cinnamon and sweet buttercream mouthfeel.” Just 170 bottles will be available for purchase starting at noon on Tuesday, June 14th.
In addition, Firefly has partnered with local handcrafted cocktail mixer Bittermilk to create a unique gift set just in time for Father’s Day. This small batch Old Fashioned cocktail mixer was aged in Firefly’s bourbon barrels and pairs perfectly with either Firefly’s Distillery Expressions Bourbon or Bend and Steal Whiskey. The gift set and the Barrel Proof Bourbon will be available for purchase at the Park Circle distillery.
