Charleston Allergy + Asthma hosts 5th Annual Peanut-Free Night with Charleston RiverDogs
Charleston Allergy and Asthma on Tuesday announced the return of their Peanut-Free Night with the Charleston RiverDogs. The annual event provides peanut-allergic individuals in the Lowcountry community with a worry-free night of baseball. This year’s event will be hosted on Wednesday, June 22nd at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Ballpark.
The 2022 Peanut-Free Night will include games, giveaways, and peanut-free concessions. As with years prior, the RiverDogs are committed to providing guests with a safe and clean environment by thoroughly cleaning all peanut residue from the stadium before the game.
“The RiverDogs are proud to host such an excellent opportunity that helps unite our community in the love of the sport,” said Dave Echols, president of the Charleston RiverDogs. “As America’s favorite pastime, baseball should be inviting and accessible for every fan in the stands. In partnership with Charleston Allergy and Asthma, we are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment through comprehensive cleanings before and throughout the game to make this year’s event a home run!”
Gates for the 2022 Peanut-Free Night will open to the public at 6 pm, with the RiverDogs facing off against the Columbia Fireflies at 7:05 pm. You can purchase discounted tickets in the peanut-free section at https://offer.fevo.com/columbia-fireflies-ttwmcc9-46eab8b. Children three and under are free.
